Belden 1694F Patch Cable

Introduction

HD-SDI patch cables using BELDEN 1694F 6GHz precision SDI video cable and precision BNC plugs. These HD-SDI patch leads are assembled at our Harlow, Essex assembly facility under our proven quality control system.

Belden 1694F is a RG6 size, Flexible low loss serial digital coax video cable (OD 7.01mm) suitable for HD-SDI applications. Belden 1694F patch leads are also suitable for older video applications. (composite, component & widescreen video)

Belden 1694F has a 19awg stranded bare copper conductor, double tinned copper braid screens and a flexible Black PVC jacket suitable for indoor use. It is not recommended for outdoor or plenum applications.

Recommended maximum transmission distance

SMPTE ST292 & ST424 - Distance is based on 20dB loss at ½ clock frequency according to Belden data sheets

HD-1.5Gb/s     maximum distance is 79M

HD-3Gb/s        maximum distance is 53M
